PLAQUE OF RECOGNITION

IMS Philippines received a prestigious Plaque of Recognition from the Filipino Association for Maritime Employment (F.A.M.E) in honor of its 32 years of dedicated membership and unwavering commitment to the Philippine maritime industry.
The Association recognized the company for its continuous support, loyalty, and adherence to the policies and objectives of F.A.M.E, contributing significantly to the advancement of collaboration and excellence within the seafaring and manning sector.
Mrs. Carmen Rebusi was likewise awarded a special Plaque of Recognition for her remarkable 14 years of service as a Member of the Board.

POEA Recognition – 2002
IMS Philippines received citations from the Philippines Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) in 2002 for continuously promoting the competence of Filipino seafarers and creating employment opportunities worldwide.
The company was likewise recognized for sustaining operations for more than 25 years without any recruitment violation — reflecting its integrity, professionalism, and ethical maritime employment practices.
ISO & MLC Compliance
IMS obtained the ISO 9001:1994 Quality Standard in Crew Management in June 2000 and later achieved ISO 9001:2008 accreditation after passing BVQI quality audits on February 3, 2010.
The company also complied with Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) requirements after successfully passing the audit conducted on December 12, 2012.
Green Award Certification
IMS partner company, IINO Marine Service Co., Ltd., became the first Japanese company recognized for environmentally friendly and safe management practices and was awarded the prestigious GREEN AWARD CERTIFICATE.
Recognition for Filipino Seafarer Heroism
On December 3, 2009, IMS Filipino seafarers were honored by then President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo for exceptional bravery and heroism at sea.
- M.T. Lotus Gas Seafarers rescued Filipino seamen from the ill-fated LCT Marc Jason 1.
- M.T. Chemway Lara Seafarers rescued Filipino fishermen near the Taiwan Strait after their vessel caught fire.
