Company Profile
IMS Philippines Maritime Corp. traces its roots to Pobar Marine Services, Incorporated, which was established on 17 September 1982 as a recruitment and deployment agency for highly skilled and competent Filipino seafarers serving foreign shipping companies.
On 25 May 1989, the company came under new management and began a new chapter in its corporate history. Through a Joint Venture Partnership with Iino Marine Service Co., Ltd., the organization strengthened its position in the maritime manpower industry and eventually became known as IMS Philippines Maritime Corp.
The partnership initially managed the crewing requirements of three (3) vessels and steadily expanded its operations to support a growing fleet of specialized tanker vessels. Over the years, IMS Philippines Maritime Corp. has established itself as a trusted and thriving manning agency, recognized for providing competent Filipino seafarers and delivering quality maritime recruitment services.
