Donation drive from IMS Philippines, Officers and Crews of Coral Crystal, JP Coral and Yodohime

The Social Action Center, Diocese of Bacolod delivered the donation of 50 sacks of rice and 783 bottles of mineral water from the IMS Philippines Maritime Corporation to the Diocese of Kabankalan including St. John the Baptist Parish in Ilog and Barangay San Juan in Binalbagan. The said donations were augmented by relief goods from oth-er donors so that deliveries to the affected victims will be maximized per trip. Each sack of rice containing 50 kgs. was repacked into a standard 5 kgs per bag totaling to 500 packs. 25 sacks of rice and 25 packs of mineral water were delivered to the Diocese of Kabankalan Little Way Seminary, which was turned into the diocesan warehouse and re-lief operation center. The goods was received by the Diocesan Clergy headed by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Magno., the Dean of Studies. This will benefit 250 families. Another 20 sacks of rice and 7 packs of mineral water from IMS were delivered to St. John the Baptist Parish in Ilog, Negros Occidental received Rev. Fr. Marlon Tejada for 300 beneficiaries while 230 bags of 5kgs. rice complemented with 230 food packs containing 3 bottles of mineral water each, canned goods and cup noodles were individually distributed to the affected residents in Barangay San Juan in the municipality of Binalbagan.
